A perfect day for looking for whales with calm seas and clear views for the lookout. Videos were good of the humpback whale which we followed for over 30 minutes with some very close encounters.
Returning to Reykjavik after lunch the Botanical Garden was a blaze of colour and interest. An interesting stop was made en route back at the Christmas shop, and a short-eared owl spotted close to the Hotel.
